Explorer was created by Jórdi Fernandez, Antoine Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux. The advertising campaign was shot by John Balsom in South Africa, and the model is Rein Langeveld. Montblanc Explorer has a scent which is more subtle than some of the other Creed Aventus clones, but it’s smoother and more mass appealing. The composition of this Creed Aventus Clone is made by three Givaudan perfumers: Jordi Fernandez, Antoine Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux. Each of them gave his knowledge and emotional experiences about a particular ingredient. The fragrance is announced as a unique woody-aromatic-leather concoction that combines essences of bergamot from Italy, vetiver from Haiti and patchouli from Indonesia.

Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT: Club de Nuit Intense Man by Armaf is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men which was was launched in 2015. Club de Nuit Intense Man is renowned for its similarity to Aventus. Cologne buffs even use the term Creed Aventus Clone. Not surprisingly, it has gained in popularity since that time. Nishane Hacivat: Hacivat by Nishane is a Chypre fragrance for women and men. This unisex scent was launched in 2017. There’s a good difference between clones and fragrances inspired by other fragrances. Turkish fragrance house Nishane released Hacivat in 2017 and even though it immediately got the hype of being an Aventus clone, Hacivat was far from that.

The only thing they actually share and have in common is the pineapple in the opening. From there, their dry down goes in completely different directions. Aventus evolves into light woody and smokey vibes while still remaining that juicy fruity theme. On the other hand, Hacivat becomes an extremely dry, intense, and wood-heavy scent. Their performance is also much different – even though Creed stabilized the performance of Aventus in 2022, it’s still nowhere near the performance and longevity of Nishane Hacivat which is monstrous. For THIS reason (if no other), we feel this qualifies as a Creed Aventus clone.
In a press release of the brand, the company has to say this: “For the collection named as “SHADOW PLAY” launched in 2017, NISHANE has got the main inspiration from the traditional shadow play which is also known as shadow puppetry, an ancient form of storytelling and entertainment which uses flat articulated cut-out figures (shadow puppets) which are held between a source of light and a translucent screen or scrim. The cut-out shapes of the puppets sometimes include translucent color or other types of detailing. Various effects can be achieved by moving both the puppets and the light source. A talented puppeteer can make the figures appear to walk, dance, fight, nod and laugh.
KARAGOZ (meaning “black eye” in Turkish) and HACIVAT (shortened in time from “Hacı İvaz” meaning “İvaz the Pilgrim”), ZENNE (the common name of the generally beautiful and flirty women featuring in various plays) are the lead characters of the traditional Turkish shadow play, popularized during the Ottoman period and then spread to most nation states that comprised the Ottoman Empire and most prominently in Turkey and Greece. The creative directors Mert Güzel and Murat Katran dreamed of bringing the legend of Karagoz & Hacivat into the today’s world. Under the inspiration of their playful characters, the perfume trilogy has been created together with the perfumer Jorge Lee. Just like the theme of these shadow plays, the main objective of NISHANE was to emphasize the contrasting interaction of the people that we can see in every single culture.

Supremacy Not Only Intense by Afnan: Supremacy Not Only Intense by Afnan is a Amber Spicy fragrance for men. Supremacy Not Only Intense was launched in 2021.

- Middle notes: Oakmoss, Patchouli and Lavender
- Base notes are Ambergris, Musk and Saffron
After the release of Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense it was immediately declared as one of the Creed Aventus clones. This was based on opening and drydown. However, that’s not completely the case. In comparing it to Aventus, yes there are similarities, mainly a sweet opening based on black currant and citruses and the woody drydown. Opening and heart are very close and similar, but the base of Supremacy Not Only Intense is pretty flat and synthetic. This is still a terrific scent with good online reviews. This one should be considered a viable and Creed Aventus clone.
